On September 24, 2026, Between Us Women kicked off our 2026–2027 monthly Zoom session with a powerful and timely theme: “Being Enough.” We opened with Psalm 139:13–14, reminding us that God intentionally created us. One truth stood out: You do not have to earn what God has already named.
God has given each of us enough to navigate what we will experience in life. Our personality, character, strengths, weaknesses, and even our challenges can become part of the journey God uses to shape us. We talked about the exhausting cycle of feeling “not enough”—the constant pressure to do more, give more, and be more. When we measure our worth by productivity, achievement, or approval, the finish line keeps moving.
Enoughness shifts the question from, “Have I done enough?” to “Can I accept myself today?”
We identified three ways to begin:
1. Release the cycle.
You do not have to do more, give more, or be more to deserve peace, rest, and connection.
2. Separate your worth from your output.
Your value is not determined by your to-do list, accomplishments, or how well you care for everyone else.
3. Embrace wholeness.
You can be imperfect, still growing, and worthy right now—not only when you become some future version of yourself.
We were reminded that our limitations do not cancel our assignments. We each have our own God-given purpose, and purpose is not a competition.
1. Own your assignment.
What God called you to do does not require you to outrun or outshine another woman.
2. Honor your season.
Age, setbacks, mistakes, and disappointments do not erase your purpose.
3. Take the next step.
Move one day, one decision, and one faithful step at a time.
Sometimes weakness becomes the very place where God’s strength is most visible. We can keep moving without pretending we have everything figured out.
So our declaration is:
I am enough because God created me, equipped me, and called me. Where I am weak, His grace meets me. I will not let the world define what God can do through me.
