We live in a world where there are so many first-ever things being manifested before us, and it’s a time for us to stand and trust God and His word. Because if we know he’s bought us through other situations, he’ll do it again. The first-ever things we face are in technological areas that are reshaping how we live, cultural shifts that challenge our values, political unrest, and the moral dynamics of family and church.
We want changes that will give us hope and help us become optimistic. When changes that are happening threaten us and bring fear, we must trust God. Currently, some of the changes that we see cause us to seek God diligently. His ears are open to the cries of His people. What we pray in secret, God manifests change openly.
Faith is the constant we live by in this world of change, and it begins with Jesus. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Our faith as a believer begins with Jesus; we live our life by faith (Heb 12:2). Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We must hold on to our faith through change and in times of desperation. We hold on to and embrace change through our faith in Christ. There is one thing we can’t afford to forget: we are more than conquerors! So, let the changes happen as we live in Christ’s peace.
