On May 27, 2026, during our Between Us Women’s Monthly Zoom meeting, we discussed the topic “From Clutter to Clarity.” Several signs that indicate it may be time to declutter. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unable to focus. Making simple decisions may become difficult, and constant stress or exhaustion may feel like your normal state. Sometimes we hold onto things, habits, relationships, or emotions that no longer serve God’s purpose for our lives. Proverbs 25:28 compares a person without self-control to a city without walls, vulnerable and unprotected.
Decluttering starts externally. Organize one space at a time, donate unused items, simplify your schedule, and reduce unnecessary distractions. As 1 Corinthians 14:40 teaches, “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
However, true clarity also requires internal decluttering. Let go of negative self-talk, release unforgiveness, establish healthy boundaries, and renew your mindset daily through God’s Word.
Walking in wisdom means seeking God in the small tasks of life. Don’t procrastinate, put things back where they belong now, not later. Protect your peace by choosing order over confusion.
The benefits of clarity are life-changing: greater peace of mind, improved focus, increased confidence, renewed energy, and a stronger sense of purpose. As Luke 16:10 reminds us, faithfulness in little things prepares us for greater things.
Choose peace. Choose clarity. Choose growth.
