When life feels rough, it is usually a result of an accumulation of circumstances or situations …… (a whole lot of isolated incidents bunched together). While you may have contributed to the situation, don’t disparage or undervalue yourself; deal with each problem-concern-situation individually. Do what you can, when you can, but don’t delay the inevitable by procrastination. Talk with someone trustworthy so you can speak and hear exactly what you are dealing with. (Things are often not as bad as we think). Write stuff down, journal…. Get it out of your head.

Identify a Bible Verse, Mantra, or Affirmation and recite it for personal inspiration, motivation, and encouragement.

(Philippians 4:13) “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.”

(Proverbs 3:5-6) I will Trust God with all (my) heart and not depend on my own abilities. In everything I do, I will Look to the Lord to guide me; He will make my paths straight.

Maya Angelou

“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”

Eat healthy, rest, sleep well, and exercise.

Practice Relaxation… (Breathe deeply, meditate, walk). Time is a great healer, “today is the first day of the rest of your life.” Look forward!
