What does it mean to have quiet time?

Quiet time is a space where we step away from the noise and busyness of life and spend time with God. It is a time to pray, reflect, listen, and remember His goodness and mercy.

It is a time to think about where God has brought us and all the things He has done that we could not have done on our own.

The quiet place is also where we can give God our cares, our worries, our families, our future, and everything that concerns us.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

Sometimes we want to understand everything that is happening around us. But Scripture reminds us:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Quiet time is a time to trust Him even when we don’t have all the answers.

It is a place of peace.
A place to pray.
A place to listen.
A place to surrender.
A place to hear His voice.
A place to know that God is still in control.

Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray. We need those moments too.

So, Between Us Women, find your quiet place. Make time for the Lord. Give Him your cares, thank Him for your blessings, and trust Him with whatever is before you.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Sometimes we don’t need to do more.

Sometimes we simply need to be still.
